SpaceUpBIT Industrial Partners Will Introduce Their Company and Explain Their Latest Space  Technology Development  in One Hour Oral Presentation.

1. LinkSpace Aerospace Technology, Group

LinkSpace Aerospace Technology Group, established in January 2014 in Beijing, is the first company in commercial aerospace technology field in China. The current under development product is a low-cost reusable small launch rocket named “NewLine-1”, for MicroSat and NanoSat payloads with mass of 200kg; to be sent to Sun-Synchronous Orbit (250 to 550km). Small satellites with almost full Earth coverage in Sun-Synchronous Orbit are the fast-growing trend in Commercial and Space technology sector.

NewLine-1 is a two-stage liquid rocket with a height of about 20m, diameter of 1.8m, takeoff weight of about 33 tons and takeoff thrust of about 400 kN. The first stage of NewLine-1 consists of 4 LOX/kerosene engines with gas generator cycle and single engine trust of 100 kN. In July 2016, LinkSpace achieved rocket hover flight with a single vector-thrust-engine for the first time in China, and the key technology milestones are developed independently, including variable thrust liquid rocket engine, VTVL rocket flight platform, flight control algorithm and control system, servo actuator and etc.

Until Sep 2017, LinkSpace has developed three hover rockets, repeated flight test more than 200 times, accumulated a lot of experimental data and engineering experience. The rocket flight test field which is located in Shandong Province covering 5,000 square meters, is the biggest commercial rocket test field in China for large thrust liquid engine and rocket flight test.

3. UN-SPIDER

The United Nations Platform for Space-based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response (UN-SPIDER) is a platform which facilitates the use of space-based technologies for disaster management and emergency response. It is a programme under the auspices of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA). UN-SPIDER created a global network in order to foster and strengthen strategic alliances and partnerships on a global and regional scale. There are two types of networks: Regional Support Offices (RSOs) and National Focal Points (NFP).
